Paver Sanding and Sealing on Long Island
Clean the pavers, replace the joint sand, seal the whole thing. That is what makes it last.
Full paver restoration for patios, walkways, driveways and pool surrounds. Deep clean, weed and ant removal, polymeric joint sand, then a sealer that locks the colour in.
Paver sanding and sealing is a three-stage restoration: the pavers are deep cleaned, the joints are refilled with polymeric sand, and a sealer is applied to lock in the colour and protect the surface. JV Power Washing performs paver restoration across Long Island on patios, walkways, driveways and pool surrounds. Sealing also suppresses weed and ant activity in the joints.
What happens when this surface is left on Long Island.
Pavers look beautiful when they are new, and tired when they are not. Rain, wind and pressure washing erode the joint sand, so pavers shift and settle unevenly. Weeds root in the empty joints. Ants nest underneath. Oil and organic stains soak into the surface. The colour fades under UV. Without sealing, a paver patio degrades every season — and once the joints are empty, the pavers themselves start to crack and trip.
Clean the pavers, replace the joint sand, seal the whole thing. That is what makes it last.

Scroll to watch the pavers restore: grime lifts, polymeric sand fills the joints, then the sealer locks the colour in.
Wet-look sealer deepens and saturates the colour for a rich, just-rained finish.
The paver sanding & sealing process, step by step.
Deep clean the pavers
Pavers are cleaned at an adjusted pressure to protect the existing joint sand. Weeds, ants and organic growth are removed from the joints.
Re-sand with polymeric sand
The joints are refilled with polymeric sand — a joint sand with a binder that hardens when wetted. It locks pavers in place and resists washing out, weeds and insects.
Apply sealer
A sealer is applied to lock in the colour and protect the surface. You choose matte (natural finish) or wet-look (deepens and enriches the colour) before work starts.
